Henna took on the responsibility of driving the Intito CARE service model forward

Busy professional at work, aligning with Intito CARE's commitment to quality

During the spring 2022, Henna Pajarinen joined the Intito team to fill, shape and develop a brand-new role in the company. She was hired as an Intito CARE Specialist and as the third employee of our Joensuu office, which was established last autumn. Now she tells us her experiences of joining Intito.

Transition from traditional industry to technology consulting

“I have worked all my career in the graphic field, in a printing house. I was a Customer Service Manager for almost 15 years. My job involved managing client relationships and coordinating print work from order to delivery. It was a very multi-variable job but having been in the same position for a long time, I had an excellent working routine for it,” Henna says of her background.

Moving to Intito meant a big change. The industry changed from a traditional one to a rapidly changing technology consulting field and the company size got smaller. From being a seasoned specialist in her own field, the leap into the unknown did not happen overnight.

Motivation behind the career change

“Having been in the same job for a long time, I found myself wondering where I have come from and where I am going. I looked at the prospects for the future for the printing industry, which were quite unclear. The biggest development in the printing sector is in IT systems. That’s what really got me interested in technology,” Henna says.

Henna began to long for the opportunity to develop and for new challenges instead of the familiar routines. She studied financial management alongside working and aspired to combine her understanding of financial management with her curiosity for technology. Everyday life began to settle down and Henna felt ready for a change of career and the challenges that the new job would bring.

“When the job at Intito opened up, it seemed to be just for me. It combined aspects of finance and technology, rather than looking for a ready-made person. It emphasized the importance of attitude and the desire to develop. The job advertisement inspired and appealed to me. I studied Intito as a company and its employees, and I felt that here I could develop as a person, supported by professional colleagues,” Henna says.

Caring culture for both employees and customers

“The welcome was very warm and caring. It’s a lovely team to work with! I had expected to be confused by all new information for long, but it turned out to be a shorter timespan than I thought. The terminology is starting to become familiar, and the new position seems to have shaped up to suit both me and Intito. Having worked in one company for a long time, I thought it would take time to adapt, but it was so easy to come here and with all the support I have received, Intito already feels like home. I think I made an excellent decision for my career and for myself,” Henna says happily.

Intito has a strong culture of caring for its customers and employees. As an Intito CARE Specialist, Henna will take special care of the former. The intention is that with Henna, customer relationship management and Intito CARE customer support service will become more systematic throughout our growing organization.

Bringing own strengths to work to benefit customers

Henna started her work by gathering a lot of information, discussing with both Intito’s employees and customers, and using it all to create a service design and development plan, which we will use as a basis for taking Intito’s customer management and service management forward.

“I’ve always liked to research things and I have the ability to pick up the right things from the information I find. I have been able to use this to listen to the views of many stakeholders on Intito CARE and its development. I’m also good at organizing complex issues and in fact, developing a new role and a new service requires good organizational skills. It’s very rewarding to see how own strengths are benefitting our company’s development and our customers’ success,” Henna says.

Expectations for the future

With a positive, enthusiastic, and committed mood, we go forward to succeed in the development work we have started for the success of our customers. Like everyone in Intito, Henna has a strong dedication to customers and a great desire to succeed in her role. She sees that Intito has great plans for the future and a clear strategy for growth.

“I want to be part of this growth story and contribute to it,” Henna says with a smile: “I get to do something new and in a new way, which has already given me a lot. Maybe the smile and enthusiasm will diminish a bit after the honeymoon, but it won’t disappear!”
