Petronella is currently studying Computer Science at the University of Helsinki. At Intito she works as part of the xPA team, intending to gradually move to the Data & AI team.

Olga is a certified data analyst and BI developer. At Intito she is now a Data Scientist in various projects for different customers.

New jobs made them realize what was special about Intito

After working at Intito for some time—Petronella from 2020 to 2021 and Olga from 2022 to 2023—both were curious to see what lay beyond the company’s doors. Petronella sought a practical application of her business studies and ventured into a role focusing on planning, budgeting, and financial management, aiming to deepen her understanding of these areas. At the same time, Olga was driven by a desire for a new perspective, yearning to experience the dynamics of working as an employee in a different environment, away from the consultancy model. “I was hoping to learn in practice what I had studied in business,” Petronella shared, while Olga added, “I needed to see what it was like to work for a company as an employee rather than a consultant.”

During their time away, both realized what they missed about Intito. Petronella found herself longing for the technological challenges she faced at Intito, as opposed to the routine financial tasks her new role demanded. Similarly, Olga encountered limitations in her new job that kept her from using her full potential, missing the variety of tasks and the continuous development opportunities that consulting at Intito had offered. “Reconciliation was not my cup of tea after all,” Petronella concluded, with Olga realizing, “I was placed in one corner and asked to do the same repetitive tasks.”

Returning to Intito

Reflecting on their experiences, both Petronella and Olga fondly remembered the positive aspects of working at Intito. The company’s stable environment, care for its employees, and the flexible working arrangements stood out for Petronella. Olga, on the other hand, was drawn back by the stimulating nature of her previous role. “When I thought about Intito, I thought about happy people,” Petronella recalled. Olga shared this feeling, emphasizing the appeal of returning to a role that was “just more stimulating than my new job.”
