CDM has long been used for a variety of regulatory and other standard reports that combine numeric and textual data. It can be used for all reports that are distributed in Word, PDF, PowerPoint, XBRL/iXBRL, etc. In fact, the same report can be used to produce all this content at once. CDM has a low learning curve as it uses the MS Office products.
